Our Story
Sense & Sober is a Hong Kong-based leather studio founded by a musician-writer duo. Our story began when we wanted wallets that are well-made, functional, have no labels and do not cost a fortune - something that could fit into our minimal lifestyle. Having no luck in finding the perfect wallet, we started making our own with leather, a material that ages gracefully.
Slowly, we find ourselves being approached by friends who also want something well-constructed with a personal touch - a teacher ordered keychains for her graduating students, a bride ordered bangles for her bridesmaid, a mother & daughter asked us to replicate an old wallet for Father's Day. We were surprised and grateful for the orders that came through the word of mouth.
Nothing is more heartfelt than personalised gifts, especially one that has been carefully considered and meticulously crafted. Here at Sense & Sober, we believe artistry, a quality largely downplayed by modern manufacturing practices, is the key to longevity.
